Crossover Flag Football league is focused on implementing the five core
values of Crossover: Honor, Integrity, Character, Teamwork and Faith.
We teach these values through Coaches, who lead by example, and
through our "Crossover Playbook". This playbook will challenge
students to pursue not only their athletic ability, but also
the person God created them to be. Each team will practice one time during
the week and play on Saturday. The season will begin with a
pre-season game, then conclude with an end of the year tournament,
where we will award trophies to the 1st and 2nd place
team of each age divisions.
Each practice begins with a prayer and ends with devotion time and a
coach/player testimony. We do not have big group teaching time but
rather use the practice times for the coaches and players to
encourage and challenge one another with football and God’s word
using small groups.
Please email Jesse Harmon with any questions.
When do the teams practice?
Once the teams are selected and the coach meets with the team, the team will decide what the best time during the week to practice. Teams are allowed to practice one time per week.
Where are the games played?
The games are played on the Fellowship Baptist Church property. The property is located on the corner of Laurel Rd. and Hwy 1 by the San Jose Mexican restaurant.
Can my child play with his friend?
Yes. We allow players to play with their friends. Once of our goals for the league is to encourage friends to invite others to participate in a christian learning experience. We want to encourage participants to invite their friends to play in the league so we allow players to play on the same team as long as space is available.
What's the Pro Day and Scrimmage week?
The pro day is the day where all the players can come out and take part in a few drills and let the coaches work with all the players. It's an opportunity for us to divide the teams as evenly as possible. Scrimmage week is usually the first time teams get together for the first time. This week is used for teams to get to know their coach and learn how each week will be officiated and played. Typically, teams do not practice before the scrimmage week.
